SYS Education partners with districts to support students experiencing disrupted learning due to quarantine, illness, or other factors. Our goal in this process is to:
Utilize current tools and curriculum to support students and minimize instructional loss
Work with teachers to create assignments and implement practices that streamline planning for both in-person learning and students accessing their education virtually (temporarily)
Work to reduce workload to support students out of school while still creating meaningful learning experiences and assignments
Training will be tailored to your district, grade band, and particular needs
Our trainers are experienced instructional coaches with expertise in virtual learning in order to best support this process
Ongoing support and training is available to continue this work and help teachers implement high impact learning strategies using assignments that can be accessed in the classroom or at home
SYS offers a spectrum of training options, including a one-time stand-alone event, a series of training sessions, or ongoing support throughout the year.

SYS works with your district to do an inventory of existing online tools such as curriculum, LMS, structures and systems and create a tailored plan to support your students during absences. Trainings can be tailored by grade band, school, or whole-district supports. Our support can include device and device management for students in order to provide additional technology support and resources for districts.
Through our partnership our goal is to circumvent learning loss for absences, to support teachers to streamline instruction and reduce workload through efficient instructional strategies that support students in both in person and online formats.
Our instructional coaches are veteran online teachers that have worked not only in their own online classrooms but supported large online schools with curriculum development and improvement. As current practitioners, they are aware of the issues that face teachers and students in our current situation. They are well-versed in a variety of platforms and curricula and have worked with a wide range of teachers in terms of grade and content.
